Technically, students weren't supposed to go into the forest. But she'd heard there were some wicked awesome things in there. Well, she'd been in there a few times before, but it's not like she didn't she at least 4 different people come out of it on her way there. It was an open invitation, a huge forest so close to the Hogwarts Campus. The biggest thing, is that it was considered apart of the grounds. And Bryana felt she could venture the grounds wherever she felt like it. She was as stubborn as a mule, and didn't care what anyone thought about it. But really, even if she wanted to go down to the boathouse, take a boat and float on the lake with her secret crush, she'd do it. But it's not like she had one of those anyway. Oh, what am I thinking? she chuckled at herself, as she entered the forest. She walked deeper inside, only enough for it to be dark, but the light of the moon still lit the branches so that she could see. She leaned up against the nearest tree, and slid down it so that she was sititng up agianst the tree. She was literally in the forbidden forest, acting like it was no big deal. It was rare, after all, the anyone ever came into terms with anything dangerous on the edge of the forest. So, why hesitate?

Nymphadora, the young second year female, ran through the Hogwarts building with tears running from her eyes, as if the were just scared half to death. She turned back to see three Slytherins walking behind her. Of course, with the length of her legs, running wasn't much faster then walking when these guys were behind her. They had been bothering her for awhile now, and they only started when everyone was back in classes. Of course no one noticed that the girl was crying, because she was good at hiding it. Tonks didn't run into a class room because she was embarrassed of the green hair that she had with a big red spot in the middle. The green hair was her own fault, her hair did that from time to time, just started to change it's color on itself. It was because she wasn't strong enough to control it yet. Now, for the red spot in the middle of this green forest of hair, one of the boys had thrown something at her. It had happened just seconds after everyone was in their classes, it may have been a spell, or it could have been a tomato, though Tonks did not know.
The hole reason this started was because they found out that if you made her mad, scared, or sad, her hair would change color on it's own. It had already gone through green blue and red, the next color was yellow. How did Tonks know this. Because it started to change again, and the color was a bright yellow. By this time, Tonks had finally reached the edge of the court yard and was almost across the bridge when one of them through something else at her. It hit her head and felt like it may have been a rock. She turned around this time, her hair dark red, and pulled her wand from her pocket. They started to laugh, "what could a second year do to use?" they said. Tonks flung her wand toward them and yelled out, " flipendo." A blue blast went toward the one on the right and her quenched his stomach as it hit him. She was now running down the hill, almost in the dark forest that was just a few more feet away, being chased by two angry Seventh Year Slytherins. She tripped and landed on her head, beside someone sitting down. She cried and cried, and finally saw that they were already coming after her, the third one back up with them. She stood but felt a sharp pain in her ankle. "No." [/size]

The silent breeze of the day comforted Felix. Sometimes the only place he felt at ease was the forest. It was the dwelling he roamed during nights of the full moon and it was where he felt he belonged. Even when there were other students to hang out with, Felix felt out of place everywhere. Even with Snape, who was an outcast just like him, he could not help but feel as if he didn't fit in. And so he one day just retreated to the forest. At first, he was scared, but as the years passed by, he came to find it a comforting place and often came to hang around and do nothing except stare at the blue sky. Well today was one day he wouldn't be able to relax. The sound of crying caught his ears and he immediately stood up and made for it.
There was Tonks, crying, and Felix could see the other Slytherins making their way towards her. He was never friends with too many of the other Slytherins either way. He did not view Voldemort as the pure-blooded savior who would wipe all the Muggles and "Mudbloods" off the face of the earth. He saw Voldemort as a discriminative unquestioned monster who deserved to die. And the Slytherins all loved him. Anger rose in his heart as he saw the desire to hurt the poor girl in his eyes. Before he could even stop himself, his wand raised up and he immediately thought a spell before flicking his wand. A blast of energy shot out and struck one of the Slytherins. They looked over and saw Felix.
"Hey... It's that fag traitor..." one of the Seventh years said. "... Forget the Hufflepuff girl. Let's get him instead," the second said. So the three began making their way towards Felix instead. Uh oh... What did I get myself into now?! he thought before turning and running into the trees as they gave chase. Shit. He turned and flicked his wand, sending another blast which caused them to stop as he turned to run again. Even I can't run forever... Soon they'll catch up with me... Why do I always persist in helping others? Why?...
... To prove I'm different from the other Slytherins... That's why.

The sky was slowly being consumed by the darkness of falling night as a lone figure walked towards the forest with deliberate ease. There was very little within the forest that Remus Lupin fear. Mostly because he was probably one of the most dangerous things in it.
As he neared the forests edge he heard a commotion that stopped him dead in his tracks. Several older Slytherin boys where advancing upon a much smaller student. He looked at them in alarm and dashed over to the victim and culprits in question.
As he neared another Slytherin intervened on the young girls behalf. Remus for the most part was normally a very laid back and patient individual who could put up with a lot of unpleasantness. But only when it was directed at him or being inflicted by his friend and fellow Gryffindor fifth years. But a ugly patch of red was rising to his normally serene face.
“What the bloody hell do you THINK you are doing!?” Remus demanded as he neared the sneering and jeering Slytherin’s who seemed to have now directed their attention to the other Slytherin student. Several blasts seemed to rocket through the grounds as several curses flew.
Remus yanked out his wand as another curse flew and students started to run “Incarcerous!” He yelled as he pointed his wand and ropes shot from the end of his wand, binding one of the Slytherin’s up neatly. “I hope you enjoy detention, because you now have it.” He said coldly looking down on the insolent boy who was giving him a look that could have peeled paint off of the very walls.
‘Filthy Gryffindor scum!’ He spat at Remus, who looked as if he could care less what he was called. “Is that the best insult you have? Then save your breath.” Lupin stated, turning his attention back to the ongoing fight and flight.

The fight was getting out of hand as Felix found he could no longer run. One of the Slytherins had been disabled by Lupin, but the other two were still doing their best to hex Felix, who was now hit with the Jelly Legs Jynx. Can't move... This is not good! Felix turned and began flicking his wand with multiple curses running in his mind, but the seventh year student approaching on him kept deflecting them. No... No, I don't want it to come to this! I don't want to use that spell Severus taught me! Not now! But as the Slytherin kept coming forward, Felix could see the malice in his eyes. Felix felt fear and panic filling his heart and instinct gripped him in a vice grip of control. He immediately flicked his want and the one spell he never wanted to use was forced willfully in his mind.
SECTUMSEMPRA! The spell hit its mark and the Slytherin boy was cut open. He screamed in pain and the other one, his eyes widened, made his way over to his companion, grabbing him and picking him up. "This isn't over traitor!" he snarled and then began to run off carrying his student. Felix sat there, his legs still wobbly and feeling boneless, with tears now forming in his eyes. What have I done? Even if it was in self-defense, the guilt he felt for spilling blood was simply too immeasurable. Felix never could get along too well with the Marauders for messing with Snape, but at the same time, Snape seemed to scare him with the spells he came up with. He always tried to help people to avoid incidents like this. Blood reminded him of Mike... of how he was kicked out of the orphanage.
Suddenly Felix seemed to moan in despair. "Noooo... What have I dooooone?!" Tears were spilling from his eyes and he tried desperately to contain himself. I did good... I think I did good... Didn't I do good?... Did I do bad? I'm a horrible person for hurting that boy, aren't I? I deserve to die, don't I?

Moony saw the boy go down in a heap of twitchy and uncontrollable legs. The Jelly Legs Curse was never pleasant, though Remus knew that it could have been something worse coming from Slytherin’s and worse is precisely what happened.
Things seemed to have slowed down into a sort of exaggerated slow motion. Felix, or at least that is what Lupin thought his name was, not being one to associate too closely with members of that house he couldn’t be one hundred percent positive. But in any case he watched as the fallen boy pointed his want and yelled a incantation that he had never heard before.
Blood seemed to slowly splash to the ground, filling the air with a strong metallic scent that Remus found unnerving and horrifying. He stood there stock still for several moments trying to register what he had just seen. It seemed like something from The Dark Arts.
Putting his feelings aside, Remus hurried over to Felix, hoping that he wasn’t seriously injured. “Are you alright?” He asked leaning down to more closely inspect the boy to make sure that he wasn’t physically injured. Though emotionally he seemed to have turned into a virtual train wreck.
He also needed to go back and to make sure the girl who had been attacked was alright as well. Concern gripped at him with a iron fist and it took ever ounce of control not to panic.
