♥ angelique ♥ Now if she touches like this will you touch her right back Now if she moves like this will you move like that shake, shake, shake SHAKE, SHAKE IT Angelique had been sitting upstairs in the cool silver and green commonroom of the Slytherins. Trying to do her homework, she kept glancing outside into the perfect day. Shaking her head, she tried to concentrate on the History of Magic essay that she had due the following day, but found that she couldn't concentrate at all, not with the perfect weather just outside her window. Finally giving up, Angelique stood up and picked up her books, and brought them back up to her dorm room.
When she came back down, she was wearing a grey, off the shoulder Chloe top with a white necklace around her neck. Her skinny true religion jeans hugged her hips, and her feet were clad in tall, caramel colored Uggs. Over her top, she was wearing a white, prada pea coat, and her chocolate brown hair was loose around her shoulders. Pocketing her wand in her white coat, she walked out of the common room, intending to enjoy the perfect day. As she walked down the stairs, she passed by a few people and greeted them accordingly. Smiling, she pushed open the heavy oak doors and made her way down to the black, glassy lake.
When she reached the lake, she began to walk around. The cool breeze ruffled her hair, letting it float around her head. She finally found a perfect spot to sit underneath a tree. Leaning back, she watched as the giant squid grabbed a few pieces of toast that were floating on the surface of the water, thown there a few moments ago by some students.
After some time had gone by, she decided that she wanted to read something, she sat forward and was ready to get up when a thought popped into her mind. Why not take advantage of the fact that she was a witch? Pulling out her wand, she decided on a book at she wanted and muttered, "Accio novel!". After a few moments, the book became visible among the tall, colorful trees, and she caught it with ease. Opening up the book, she began to read.

Sirius had left the Gryffindor common room, as Peter was severly on his nerves, and Remus reading. However, he did feel the slightest guilt leaving him there with Peter. Though Peter would probably shut up if left with Remus only.
So, Sirius left the castle, after having to step through a crowd of second year Hufflepuffs who were standing at the foot of the staircase, not bothering to move, or moving much too slowly for Sirius's taste.
After he got past them, he went outside the oak doors, and walked down the grounds to the black lake. The Giant Squid was eating what seemed to be toast, students were watching in groups of two, three or four, while others sat around taking or studying, or finishing homework in what may be the last nice day of the year.
No, it wasn't hot like the past week, but it wasn't cold either. Sirius found it quite alright, however.
He then noticed the Slytherin sitting underneath the tree, reading. Of course, Sirius could not let her pass without doing something of his natural nature. Therefore what was also known as hexing, jinxing, or being a bother to a Slythiner in some sort. Accio novel! Sirius muttered under his breath. [/blockquote]

♥ angelique ♥ Now if she touches like this will you touch her right back Now if she moves like this will you move like that shake, shake, shake SHAKE, SHAKE IT Angelique flipped through the pages quickly, reading the novel. However, as she was just about to finish a chapter, the book flew from her hands. Annoyed, she looked up and followed the path of the flying novel right into the hands of another boy. Raising an eyebrow at the other boy, she asked "Now that you have my attention, is there anything specific you want to ask me?"
She didn't even know the name of this boy, but only knew his face and the fact that he was supposedly a 'blood traitor' to all slytherin's alike. However, this being her first year, she didn't exactly know why. After all, she was a transfer student from Beauxbatons, and alot of the things here was new to her, including lord voldemort and his apparent dark reign. However, back to the matters at hand, she decided that she could get her point across better.
Standing up, she brushed the dried grass off her clothes before walking over to where the boy was standing with the book in his hand. "What is your name anyways?" she asked, tilting her head to the side. However, she had tucked her hand into her pocket grasp the handle of her wand, just in case things got out of hand. Giving him a quick once over as she did so, she said "I'm assuming you're in Gryffindor?" It came out more of a statement than a question, for from what she had heard in the commonroom, he was a gryffindor.

The girl looked up at Sirius, annoyed. And then she asked if there was anything specific he wanted, now he had her attention. No, not really. Sirius said, shrugging. He then began to flip through the pages. She then stood up and walked over to him. What's it matter what my name is? Sirius asked before she had mentioned him being in Gryffindor. He had noticed her hand slip into her pocket. But just for the records, the name's Black, Sirius Black. Sirius said, leaning forward and whispering it, as if it was a secret or something. Then she mention Gryffindor. And I'm guessing you're a Slytherin, then? Sirius said. he could tell by her slight attitude, her posture, and the way she slipped her hand into her pocket, reaching for her wand - or at least he figured that was what she was doing, to attack or protect herself, when Sirius showed no sign of doing anything of the same to her. "And mine is Angelique." she said, whispering it as well, not bothering to supply a last name. Standing upright now, she said "You know, if you wanted to read a book, you could have just asked." she said, shrugging her slender shoulders. "After all, I do have plenty to spare.". Turning around, she began walking back towards the castle. "Now that you know my name, be sure to return to the book to me, k?" she said over her shoulder towards the other boy.

Sirius had never quite met a Slytherin like this one before, excluding Felix, of course. Most Slytherins would've snatched their book back, possibly hex him, or not even be caught out here reading to begin with.
Sirius was about to hand back her book when she said that she had plenty to spare and then began to walk away. So, Sirius ran after her. Yeah, I don't read. Not really... Sirius said to her, handing her back her book. Sirius didn't read, not unless he was at home, stuck on his own. Mainly because he didn't associate with his family, and he wasn't always with James and Remus and Peter after all.

♥ angelique ♥ Now if she touches like this will you touch her right back Now if she moves like this will you move like that shake, shake, shake SHAKE, SHAKE IT Angelique was walking back up towards the school when she heard the sound of running feet behind her. She didn't stop, but she did slow down, allowing the person behind her to catch up. As the person caught up, she tilted her head slightly to the side to see who it was, and smiled when she saw that it was the gryffindor boy. "Why the change of heart?" she asked, slightly amused by the whole thing.
Stopping, Angelique turned to face the other boy. "If you didn't want to read it, why take it in the first place?" she asked, out of slight curiosity. Being new here, she didn't really know anything about Hogwarts, except for the basics like the names of the houses and the quickest way to her classes. However, she was strongly lacking in the background history of everything, as well as knowledge of the shortcuts and such. Was there something that she had been missing?

Sirius had noticed that Angelique slowed down for him to catch up to her. The change of heart? He wasn't quite sure what she meant by that. Possibly the fact that he was giving the book back to her. Because I figured you'd want it back. Sirius said to her to answer her question.
She then turned to him and asked him why he took it to begin with if he didn't read. I don't know. I guess it's just something that I tend to do. Plus Slytherins and Gryffindors have always been rivals, so we tend to do just about anything to annoy the other. Sirius said, shrugging. That was the only explaination to her second question. She was new, and obviously didn't know much around Hogwarts, but still that rivalry she should've known the moment she stepped foot into the school.[/blockquote]

♥ angelique ♥ Now if she touches like this will you touch her right back Now if she moves like this will you move like that shake, shake, shake SHAKE, SHAKE IT Angelique looekd up surprised. "Really?" she asked, slightly confused. From all the people in Slytherin that she had talked to, not one of them had mentioned anything about a rivalry between them and another house. Shrugging off her annoyance at her house, she looked back at the other boy. "Well, thanks for telling me about the rivalry I guess." she said, unsure of what to say. After all, what did you say after someone just told you that their house and yours were rivals?

Angelique looked confused at what he said. How did she not know about the rivalry? She also looked a little confused as to what to say to him after he told her that their houses were rivals. However, that didn't stop some Gryffindors and Slytherins being friends. For example, take Felix and Sirius. Sure, Felix was the Slytherin outcast, he was still a Slytherin. You kow that doesn't mean that you can't talk to any of us anymore, right? Sirius said to her, kind of hoping it wouldn't change anything at all anyway.[/blockquote]

♥ angelique ♥ Now if she touches like this will you touch her right back Now if she moves like this will you move like that shake, shake, shake SHAKE, SHAKE IT Angelique paused for a moment as she considered what she should do. Should she still continue to be nice to a boy who was obviously a house rival? Or should she just shun the other boy like many others in her house did? Well, she was new and everything, so she could pass it off as innocence, but then again, no slytherin was ever innocent in a matter like this. She would be better off if she ignored the other boy.
Angelique nodded "Don't think that matters anyways." she said, looking around. If there were any slytherins around, it would be bad for her to be caught talking to a gryffindor, and with what the other boy had just said, it would probably mean plenty of explaining to do as well. Lovely. Fiddling with the book in her hand, she tucked it away in one of the pockets in her cloak. "Guess I'll be seeing you around then." she said, for she had nothing else to say. Wrapping her cloak around her, she stepped away from the other boy and continued on her way.
