As the day was coming to an end Bellatrix grew anxious to go out and do some hunting as she liked to refer to the fact that it was indeed what she did with her victims. She paced around the dungeon that was part of the Death Eater hideout endlessly, muttering to herself from time to time, wondering why herself and her fellow mates had not received any orders in days. Bellatrix became restless and annoyed with each ticking of the clock, and no one could calm her down tonight. Rodolphus wasn't even around to talk to, or Rebastan. Not to mention Lucius whom she had not seen in days. The only people who could perhaps knock some sense into her had abandoned her, which only added to Bella's dysfunction.
The clock striked 7PM and still no sign. Bellatrix screamed out in frustration and pulled her wand out of her cloak, aiming toward the wooden door that stood in her way. It was times like these that every one stood far from her, for the plain reason she would go insane on you any moment. She yelled out an incantation along the words of Alohamora and watched as the door quickly swung open within a second. Running out of the dungeon with wild, curly hair in every direction Bellatrix fled into the night, without bothering to even close the door. Leave it to those fools, Bellatrix thought to herself not bothering to glance behind her.
The witch paced quickly in the darkness you could have sworn she was flying. Much to her disappointment, she could not fly, except walk so quickly it seemed she was gliding in the air with her long, dark, cloak behind her. Bellatrix payed no attention to where she was headed, she only muttered out spells and incantions along the way, cursing and killing poor animals through a forest. The moon already shone high above the sky, but tonight there were no stars. Only the darkness of the sky stretched over the horizon, with the moonlight being cast upon the tree tops of the dark forest. The forest floor was actually quite icky tonight, almost like a swamp. Ferns stuck out of no where and the moss on the trees looked more green than usual.
My mind is playing trick on me, yet again.. The witch thought, gazing around the darkness cautiously. But why would she feel this way if that's how forests regularly were? Who knew..She continued her path straightforward and never looked back. Moments later, as she came farther away from the secret hideout int he middle of no where she came up a deserted road. It would be a while before she got anywhere and this really annoyed Bellatrix, considering the fact she could have just used the Floo Network to get anywhere quickly. Letting out a mumble in frustration Bellatrix stopped on her tracks and folded her arms across her chest, pouting to herself. "I knew I should have waited, but impulse always beats me." She told herself, growling at the floor for a while.
Then reality struck her: apparation. "WHY OF COURSE!" She yelled out, throwing her arms in the air frantically, along with a maniacal giggle. Before she could think anymore her mouth ran dry and Bella instantly thought pumpkin juice. The girl did have her soft side after all, mind you. It was all she needed in order for her to think Hogsmeade, close her eyes and wish herself there. A moment later Bellatrix appeared out of thin air on a deserted edge of Hogsmeade. Bellatrix thought about getting herself to a pub but a certain store caught her eye, the sign above it read Honeydukes. Candy from every shape and color was displayed on the window, ready to catch anyone's attention.
It had been years since Bellatrix had felt like a child, so why would it strike her now? The store was still open but it seemed they were about to close soon. sure enough, most shops were already closing down. Couples and kids, families and teenagers were already leaving the streets of Hogsmeade. Bellatrix made sure to pull her cloak over her face and giggled to herself as she made her way to Honeydukes. A few people still remained inside, some at the register, others still choosing they're selection on candy. Bellatrix walked around a stand of colorful candy and then began thinking about the last time she was here. She trailed off in thought then remembered about the first time she ever visited the Shrieking Shack.
Suddenly, it striked her..what if she visited the place once more, just like before? A diabolical smirk spread on her face, her lips curling up into a smile that told anyone she was up to no good. Bella looked around and quickly made a run into the back room. It was quite odd that Honeydukes would have a secret passage way to the Shrieking Shack. This only added to Bella's excitement however, and she thought about it as an adventure. She squealed in delight and ran down a staircase until she came across a dark room that smelled of wet wood. (haha idk..wild imagination) "Ahhh here again, so good to be here again.." Bella muttered to herself. She spun around and wondered if anyone else resided in the place. She suddenly gasped and stopped. I must not be seen by anyone, Bellatrix thought, panic running through her. She gazed around in the darkness, walking back 'til she hit a wall. Bellatrix lowly muttered to herself and let herself fall on the ground, landing on her knees. She sat into a position she she was hugging them and her wild hair fell around her face.
From a somewhat distant area, she heard a howl. Bellatrix looked up, curiosity in her eyes and wondered what just that might be. She reached for her wand, and stood on her feet. "Who's there?" She called out in a low, harsh voice.
