Lily was sitting down in the lawns reading a book. She had been there for the past hour or so. They didn't have any classes today,as it was a weekend. She didn't want to spend much time in the Common Room. It got pretty boring after awhile. There also wasn't anyone there, so she decided to come down to the lawns and get some reading done.

Myseri didn't mind the castle, but she did mind the never-ending drama that consumed it. After wandering for hours, she headed outside. The lake was packed, the forest was empty. Well, that she assumed. No one entered the forest in broad daylight. It was a free ticket to detention.
Her feet pulled her along as quickly as her mind passed through ideas. Maybe she could join that large group at the lake. No, she would be too fast to join in the fun. Perhaps she could gossip with the girls. Nope, she would be a little too knowing of the people for simple gossip. A sigh escaped her lips as she entered the lawns. "I give up," she murmured as she laid in the grass. It was more a of fall, but it was way to graceful to be classified as that. Either way, she was just a flat figure in the high grass. Myseri barely noticed the Gryffindor reading.

Lily didn't notice anyone else on the lawns right away. She was into her book a little too much. Lily loved to read. It was one of her favorite things to do. She went to go turn the page in her book when she noticed someone else. It was a girl, A slytherin. Lily thought about saying hi, and talking to her. She just wasn't sure that she should. Only very few Slytherins liked her. It didn't help that she was a Gryffindor, or a muggleborn for that matter. Lily wasn't judging she just wasn't sure she should say something.

Myseri rolled over and tried to read the title on the girl's book. After much squinting in the daylight, it was no use. She debated on whether or not to talk to her. She was obviously a Gryff, which would kill what people had known Myseri as. On the other hand, curiosity was killing her and she dreadfully needed to know what she was reading that could keep her so unaware of the world around her.
As the girl looked up, Myseri caught her chance."What are you reading?" she asked calmly and slightly unattached. For some reason, she didn't expect the girl to answer unless she was really gutsy. Yet, she was who she was, and that house was known for being stupidly brave. Rolling over on her side, Myseri faced the girl. Placing her face in the palm of her hand, she kept a steady gaze on her.

Lily looked up when the girl spoke. She smiled up at her "Oh um Northern Lights" she said with a nod, answering her question. She had found it in the muggle section of Flourish and Blotts. Lily loved to read, and would read pretty much almost anything. There were only very few things she wouldn't read, or try and read.

Myseri raised an eyebrow, "a muggle book? Had to read it before I came here." Her mother had been extremely into the whole 'muggle' people situation. Probably because that was the one thing she never was. Witch, then vampire. That was it. Yet, her mom insisted that if they were to blend, the must know how. Oh how she missed her mom, and the rest of her family. No mind. She wasn't about to go rambling to a Gryffindor. That wasn't her intention. She wasn't sure what it was, but she knew what it was not.

Lily nodded "yup a muggle book" she replied with a nod. Um hello Im a muggleborn she thought to herself, but didn't say it out loud. That would be a little bit too rude, and Lily normally wasn't a rude person. She had her moments, but she was only usually rude if people gave her a reason to be.

Sensing the slight snip in the girl's tone, she immediately slid into a crouch. Control yourself, Myseri. This isn't the place. Besides, she's only some Gryffindor. Her heart is larger than her brain, she reminded herself. If this girl wasn't careful, she'd end up in a pool of her own crimson liquid. Myseri wondered if Gryffs bled red or gold.
