Before Theo had finished 'let's', Myseri had bolted from the boys' dorm, into her own, threw on a hoodie, and came back. "Let's go then!" she said as she grabbed him arm and led him downstairs past the drunken and noisy students. She practically ran out of the portrait hole and down the corridor. In no time at all, they were in the middle of the forest. She had never really noticed how fast she was until she had almost run head-on into a tree.
The forest was chilled and still. Even few moments, you'd catch the snapping of a branch or the scream of prey. If was a natural thing and truly didn't bother her anymore. Finally realizing she was still attached to Theo, she let his arm go. "Sorry, dear," she mumbled while she tried to catch the scent or sound of easy prey. She hadn't been too sure about his ability to hunt. Myseri decided to let him find it. She leaping, practically floated, onto the boulder in the clearing. "I can hear every movement you make from here," she said cheerfully, "let's warm up." Taking a deep breath, she closed her eyes. "Try to attack me," she said, "and use some skill." She was trying to bring him out a little more and hopefully a good warm-up before a hunt would help.

Theodore was taken by suprise by how quickly she was up and ready to go, practically dragging him out of the castle and into the forboding Forbidden Forest. She was fast. That was clear, he had serious trouble keeping up. They finally came to a stop in a clearing in the dark forest. Most students wouldn't be able to see in this darkness, even though a full moon wast nestled in the clear night sky somewhere above the thick canopy of leaves. He frowned when she suggested attacking her. That wasn't what he'd had in mind. He hesitated. What many people couldn't tell about him, due to his quiet, withdrawn personalilty, is that when it came down to hunting, he was fast, strong and vishious. He sighed quietly. He knew she wouldn't back down now that she had desided to do this warm up. he knew his sigh had given her a clear idea where his position was and knew that he had to change. In a heartbeat he was on the other side of the clearing without making a single sound. He held back again. He didn't want to hurt her. He tensed. He would be gentle about it, he desided and threw himself at her with remarkable speed and strength. It was so quiet save the tale tell sound of some unknown creature rummaging near by.

Myseri overheard his quiet protest, but ignored it completely. They both knew there was no denying that warming-up was best. He seemed prone and ready to go after a few moments and she reshut her eyes tightly. Clearly her mind, she tried to focus on her companion. In less than a second, Theo was on her and she was on the ground. Luckily though, she had spun around in the nick of time to catch them both.
"Nice.." Myseri trailed off and her eyes went dark. She glanced up at him in hopes he had picked up on the sound too. Her teeth flared in a silent attempt to dismiss the creature, but it didn't move. It wasn't the least bit startled. She shifted underneath Theo and flung herself in the branches of a nearby tree. Slowly, she crawled her way out the furthest branch that over hung into the forest. Again, she glanced back at Theo in hopes of some help. She wasn't scared, but maybe this was the chance he needed. The only other way this could go is if it was too much. That's why she was there though, right? To protect him and be his backup.

Theo rolled off of her as soon as they reached the ground. He froze. He had heard something close by, and by the look on Myseri's face, she had heard it too. She threw herself into the tree and Theo stood up, taking an offensive position, moving closer to the edge of the clearing. His eyes were clouded dark now too, his glammor long forgotten. He scanned the undergrowth for what had made the noise. There! A muncjack was standing in the foliage, completely oblivious to the fate with which it was faced. He looked up a Myseri again, checking that she was still there incase he less controlled than he thought. Content that Myseri was still on the tree branch he sprang at the little doe.

Myseri watched Theo stalk the doe as he moved. She was really surprised and rathe proud. After taking a couple glances up at her, he sprang and she watched as he drank the creature dry. Her fangs now back to normal, human size, she jumped down and landed silently beside him. She threw her arms around him and smiled. Half of it was a reassurance and a show of pride, the other was incase she needed to take him down. She highly doubted she would, but it was a procaution. As fast as he was, Myseri wasn't so sure she would have been able to catch him before he got to the Slytherin dorms and made it a bloody canvas. "How are you, love?" she asked with her eyes questioning.

The doe barely had time to stuggle once he was onto it. The warm, metalic bloodflooded his mouth and coursed through every vein in his body. he was lost in a red haize with the poor creature in his grasp as he drained it of every last drop of the life giving liquid. When no more came from the animal he dropped the carcus and rose. He was clean, prefectly. Many vampires would spill some down their clothes, or at least their chin, but Theo wasted none. Once he was up he felt Myseris arms grab him. "I'm fine. It isn't this bit i worry about like i said." he assured, turning out of her grasp and picking up the little body, he dumped in in some of the thicker undergrowth where a fox or something would be sure to find it. "It's when this blood starts to run out and the thirst comes back. that was the help of the draught. It was easy to get to and weakened the thirst a bit." he added, looking back at Myseri. His eyes and teeth normal. Glammor back up.

Myseri thought for a moment. Yeah, it sounded about right that the effects would be more later when he started to dry out. "Then we'll sleep out," she said cheerfully as she appeared back on the rock. It was very hard for her to mask what she was when she was alone. She had always prided herself on being fast and agile. Waving from the rock, she smiled, "whatcha wanna talk about?" Her voice was playful and almost childish. No one would have any idea how happy she was to have company, no one.

"Are we going to spend the rest of the night in the forrest?" he asked, moving to the rock. He walked at normal speed, unlike her running. He felt a lot better with living blood in him. He actually felt warm for the first time since school started. He changed his mind about walking. he felt alive for the first time since the holidays and he wasn't going to waste the feeling. He darted into the branches of a tree, moving at such a speed he was no more than a blur. He lay across the branch and smiled at Myseri. "Over Here!" he called, incase she hadn't seen where he had gone.

Myseri nodded, "of course we are! I'm not letting you go off and spend the night in a dorm filled with boys plump with blood." This was very true. SHe couldn't risk him murdering someone. It would be all her fault and she didn't think she could live with more death. She noticed his casualness and frowned, but as soon as he began playing, she smiled again. He called to her from the tree, but what he didn't know is that she had snuck up behind him. "Honey," she whispered in his ear, "I'm behind you." With a giggle she climbed a little higher in the branches. She reached a hole in the canopy of the forest and leaned against the trunk of the tree. It was beautiful tonight. The moon was bright and melted the clouds. Stars jumped out to her eyes and the wind ruffled the leaves in the trees.

Theodore frowned as he saw that Myseri was not on the rock. He started to move forward but she whispered in his air. He spun around and laughed again. He followed her up the tree, grabbing at her legs and racing her to the top. She won. He got through the canopy a second later. It was an amazing night, he knew it would be bright on such a clear night. He looked up at the stars. He always loved the night sky. "wow." he breathed. He grinned and looked at Myseri. He wasn't acting like himself at all around her but he felt so good. He knew that as soon as he was in the presense of the rest of the school he would be back to his withdrawn self but he would enjoy this while he had it.

Myseri's ankles were slippery and too skinny to grasp. She noticed that she had just beaten Theo to the top when he popped through the leaves. "So what do I win?" she asked with a grin. This was too much fun to stop. But they did have all day tomorrow as well, so it would last for a while. Slipping down through the canopy, she reappeared beside him. "It's like whack-a-mole," she giggled as she plucked his cheek and disapeared again. She resumed her place that just peeked through the canopy. Something in her chest ached, but she didn't think it was a physical pain. She placed her hand on it anyway and muffled a small whine. Pushing it from her mind, she stared back up at the sky again and kept taking peeks at Theo.

Theo laughed and waved her hand away from his cheek and watched as she poped up in different places. When she whined he noticed, even though it was muffled. He frowned. "Whats wrong?" He asked, concerned now. "Are you alright?" He placed a hand on her shoulder and met her eyes.
(Gah, its short. Sorry.)

[It's fine ] She looked up and met his eyes. There was no way she would be able to lie to him now. Myseri just couldn't bring herself to do it. "It just," a sigh fell from her lips, "hurts." She pointed to her chest where her heart laid. She'd never felt this before and she had no idea why it started now. It popped up when she thought about tonight ending. She sighed once more and looked to the moon and then down. For some reason, she couldn't bring her eyes to meet Theo's again.

"Hurts how?" he asked. getting more worried, his frown furrowing. He dipped his head to try and meet her eyes after she had looked away. "Come on. Tell me." he insisted. His stomach was tense when he thought about the fact that Myseri was in pain. "Should we head back to the castle?" he continued. He wasn't even thinking about the fact that he could turn into a muderous beast in the presence of his peers.

Myseri noticed how hard he was working to look at her and she forced a smile on her face. She lifted her head and placed a delicate finger under his chin to lift his as well. "It just aches," she whispered thoughtfully and pointed back to her heart. "I have no idea why or how, but it just hurts." It wasn't to the point where she couldn't handle it. It didn't even ache that bad, but it still brought tears to her eyes. She shifted her hand to his hair and roughed his hair a little bit. "I can learn to handle it," she lipped and leaned her head against the tree.
